Has played guitar for over 30 years, and has taught group and private guitar since 1995. Teaches beginners of all ages and often uses song lyrics as instructional tools. Has recorded five albums and is a member of the Children's Music Network. Is a frequent performer and leader of children's sing-a-longs in the Shawano area, including the Folk Music Festival, Beans & Books, and the Library. Will teach beginner group guitar classes and private lessons at Keynote.

Theresa Barthel: VIOLIN

Concordia University Wisconsin. Had many years
of private lessons in Minnesota and Wisconsin,
and has participated in various string ensembles
and orchestras. Has taught private violin and
ensembles for seven years. Students are instructed
using the Suzuki method but also learn to read
music. She also enjoys teaching fiddle music.

B.Music in Violin Performance - Lawrence Conservatory of Music. Has been studying and playing violin for over 20 years, including Suzuki method. Has taught at Valenches Studio, Scranton, PA, and Marywood University String Project. Teaches all ages and levels, including classical, folk, bluegrass & fiddle music.

Served as artist / instructor in various music academies including North Central Wisconsin Concervatory of the Arts in Woodruff, Wis. and Wausau Conservatory of Music. Has taught private lessons for thirty years, currently in Schofield & Rhinelander, Wis. Has directed youth orchestras and elementary ensembles, and has taught master classes, seminars, and lecture/demonstrations.
